Wine Making

Chenin blanc grapes were selected for this Brut Sparkling wine. The grapes were harvested when the flavours for sparkling wine were optimum. The grapes were harvested at a higher acidity with fresh fruit and not too ripe flavours. Wine was made on the traditional way by fermenting at very low temperatures (13°C) until dry. Extended lees contact allows for complexity on the palate and a long mouth feel. CO2 gas is added at bottling to ensure a fine, well integrated sparkle.

Tasting Note

This Brut sparkling white wine shows lovely pear flavours on the nose and layered with hints of honey suckle. The crisp acidity leaves a lingering aftertaste when the bubbles melt in your mouth.
